These boots are just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. I am a collector of Owl things lately, and when I saw these I HAD to have them. I never, ever spend this kind of money on shoes but seriously, look at them. So cute.
The shaft of the boot is a little narrow for my big ol' legs, but I was expecting that. They are wearable and comfortable, but they look a little wonky at the ankle. It really just bugs me because if they were shaped a little differently, they'd fit perfectly. The big part of the calf is perfect, but then they narrow at the top. My legs just aren't shaped that way, and I wish I could have these tailored or cobbled or something.
Anyway, I am definitely keeping them despite the high price and somewhat awkward fit, because...yeah you know.

love the design but the sizing is tiny! typically take a size 8 and ordered a 9 but they just fit like a 6. order big!

I freaked out over these when I first saw them, and had to have them even though they are definitely over-priced. I've worn them twice now, and have no complaints as far as fit goes. I'm a solid 9 and these were just right. But I totally have to agree with another reviewer on the 'wonky' shape of these boots. It makes them look bulky. They buldge out behind your ankle, just under the calf and then get smaller at the top? The shaft kinda bends a lot as you walk so I'm sure they would dry rot after a minute or two of use. I think I'll go grease them right now that I think of it...
