Bought these for my ladyfriend and she loves them to death. She's been wearing them with jeans, leggings and occasionally a long wide skirt up to 16 hours straight with no complaints at all ;-)
Says she gets loads of nice comments frem both sexes + a little extra attention from the gents.
One little quip: the buckles have very sharp points, that can snag and rip furniture and car-seats if you're unlucky.
She says that they are comfy, very sharp-looking and not at all like any wellie, and that she'll be wearing them at this years rock-festivals as her only foot-wear.
In one word: excellent...

Having worn rainboots only once in my life (20 years ago), I remembered them as uncomfortable (able to feel the ground in texture and temperature) while making my feet sweat profusely. My feet were cold and wet, which was what I was trying to avoid in the first place. With L.A. having a very rainy year, I decided to get some rainboots (I work outside a lot) and was hoping that there were advancements in shoe technology to make rainboots comfortable. Did a little research online, and Chooka had pretty good reviews. I love the fact that these look a bit rockerish, and when I put them on, they were crazy comfortable. Also extremely easy to put on + off. I wore them for a whole week- I didn't feel the ground, they were warm, and my feet didn't sweat- whoo hooo! It was a light rain the whole week, so they served their purpose. I live in WA state and needed some pretty durable (and good looking) rain boots - these guys did the trick! They are surprisingly comfortable, and I've gotten quite a few compliments that they don't even look like rubber boots - quite a few compliments in general actually, mostly from guy friends. The little studs do come off easily though. Definitely a "yes-buy"!
