I ordered this boot from Amazon in my exact shoe size (9 medium) but it was at least 1.5-2 sizes TOO SMALL although it said "9M US" on both the order and the boot--and I had on only a single pair of normal weight socks. My foot never came even close to getting into this boot. My current boot is a Timberland and it fits flawlessly in a 9M woman's. As no one else had reviewed this item, I had no idea it ran so small. I had even checked Zappos and it had one review of this boot which said it fit true-to-size! So, be advised to order a much larger size than your normal one. I am too wary to order it again so am returning it. Too bad as I had my hopes up for this boot.

These boots looked perfect as soon as I got them...until I tried them on. I wish I could have ordered a 10 or an 11 in these (my shoe size is actually a 9). They were entirely too small and EXTREMELY narrow.

These boots are made of fairly thin leather, and look exactly as pictured. The pair I bought ran true to size; it's possible the other reviewer's pair was mislabeled or otherwise defective. At first glance the tongue seemed to be glued to the top of the shoe, but it turned out to have been secured in place with cellophane tape (it did leave a sticky residue). The shoes themselves seem a bit lightweight for the price, but they really are beautiful and I would recommend them.
