Charles David Women's Rowdy Knee-High Boot

These boots are absolutely awesome. I have been searching for a well-made, stylish riding boot for over 2 years and simply was not going to pay big $$ for something that would wear out in 1-2 years. The back zipper (in red) is so unique and I have received tons of compliments. They fit well; don't squeeze my calves; and have adequate room for wool socks (a must in New England). With that said, I did have the soles replaced with a larger tread given the snow/ice I endure for 4 -5 months/year. Additionally, I put on black polish as I felt this made them a bit dressier (and work better with my wardrobe). Finally, when I picked them up from the cobbler, he told me that these were some of the best boots he's seen; they should last a lifetime; and are far superior to the Frye boots that everyone seems to love. Overall - great purchase. Highly recommend.

These are by far one of the best, most comfortable stylish flat boots. The leather is sturdy yet soft, with a warn in look. The back red zipper adds just a bit more edge than your average boot. I wore thick socks with them and they felt like house slippers. Problem is they are so comfortable I want to wear them every day! The calf is roomy without making your legs look like tree trunks. They are one of my favorite boots so much so I ordered another pair with a high heel boot. They are super sexy, great detail and wonderful leather. A boot that will last a long time. I bought boot trees to keep them upright, which will make them hold their shape. I missed out on these last year and regretted it, I found them this year and I am so happy I didn't let them slip away again.

I ordered the boots a 1/2 size too small. They are a nice leather boot and I loved the style; however, I didn't like the heel. I wish the heel would have been black to blend more with the boot.
