I hunted down this boot after seeing them on a celebrity. I purchased the black version and I love them! Runs true to size. For reference, I'm 5'3", 114 lbs, 13.5 inch calf circumference (muscular) and size 6 shoe. I love the asymmetrical shaft. The lowest part of the top of the shaft comes right below my knee. It has a generous fit around the leg so I can wear both leggings or jeans underneath. If you have a skinny/slender calf, the shaft might be big on you. I just ordered another pair in brown!

The boots are pretty comfortable although I wouldn't say they are the most comfortable I own which is why I took off 1 star. You do have to break them in at first - very study boot. The back zipper makes it a cinch to put them on or take them off. Overall I recommend.

These boots are absolutely beautiful and clearly very good quality. The shaft is plenty roomy, but the foot of the boot is slightly snug and had I bought them in the store I would have bought a 1/2 size up (I have somewhat narrow feet with a high arch). My only real complaint was that I knew by how beat up the box was (the lid is taped together) and when there was no paper in one of the boots they had been sold and restocked and sure enough the sole is a bit scuffed. Nothing major, but I am still annoyed Shoemania didn't note this.

These boots are just beautiful! I bought the grey boots and they are exactly what I have been searching for. I was somewhat concerned about the sizing, as I didn't want to have to send them back. I finally bought the 8.5 ( I usually take a 7.5 / 8 )and the fit is a little looser than it should be, but with thicker socks and tucked-in jeans they will be fine. Everyone who has seen them craves them. Amazon also offered the best price by far.
