When i first discovered these amazing boots here on Amazon, the price was just a few cents below $325, and as much as it broke my heart to admit it (shoe-obsessive that i am), I just couldn't afford it. Deep down inside, i just have a big problem paying that much for one pair of boots.
Having said that, the price finally dropped way down to just under $140, i decided i couldn't wait anymore. Granted, that's still a tad expensive (imho anyway, but i tend to be a bargain-shopper ... at least SOME of the time) but i just couldn't resist.
These are just beautiful, and i'm so glad i have them. If you look at them very close-up, it's a repeating pattern of gray (with, to my eyes, just the tiniest hint of green) surrounded by a very subtle midnite blue. The overall effect, from a greater distance, is a blue-ish tone that is both subtle and quite elegant.
