After 5 hours of online research looking for waterproof warm boots, I purchased these. Alas, I must send them back because the shaft circumference is too small. I saw a video on another popular site that sells shoes where the top of the boot looked quite roomy and stretchy....However there was no hope my athletic calves were going to fit into these boots. Too bad so many companies don't seem to realize there are women out there who do not have twig thin legs. If you have skinny calves under 15 inches, then these boots are great for you.

I just received these boots and they are so cute! I've been searching high and low for rain boots that I can wear while out camping and 4x4ing, but also can wear in the city. These fit the ticket! I'm usually an 8 1/2 when it comes to shoes but since I've worn other Bog's in the past I knew to order a 8, they still have enough toe room to wear a pair of thick sock when the weather gets chilly. They come up to just under my knee which is perfect since most all other boots have been a little too short for the deep muck I get myself into at times. A plus is that they are wide enough to tuck your jeans into but don't have that floppy feeling that rubber boots are known for. Yay for Bogs! I would highly recommend these to anyone!

Very shiny Bogs Rider boot that looks like embossed black patent leather. Warm, comfortable,and waterproof, like their older Rider boots, which are no longer available anywhere except in very large sizes like 10 or 11.
