Blowfish Women's Arielle Boot

In my experience, Blowfish shoes tend to run a bit small, in heels especially - I wear an 8 or an 8.5, and usually have to order a 9 if I'm getting heeled shoes or boots from Blowfish. I found these for super cheap online, but they only had an 8.5. I took a gamble and ordered that size, hoping they would fit. Well, they do, but they are snug, especially across the top of the foot. If I were doing it again I would bite the bullet and shell out more money for a 9, but as it is they're not so uncomfortably tight that I want to deal with the hassle of returning and rebuying. It seems like they will stretch a bit with wear. Fit issues aside, these are awesome boots - they're super warm, look great, are decently comfortable for having such a high heel, have a sturdy sole with a good amount of traction, and they even fit my giant calves (about 16''), although zipping them up is a bit of a squeeze and they would absolutely not fit anything larger than that. I bought these boots last week in preperation motorcycle season. Ive been riding for over 8 years and have never had an accident. Yesterday, unfortunately, I went down doing 35 mph, slid 20-25 feet on my side, and these boots are still in great shape! I got checked out at the ER (no broken bones, just scraped up...I was wearing full gear) knocked the dust off my boots, and went on my merry way! These are some great boots and I know my legs would be in worse shape if I hadnt been wearing these. The soles got a little bit scuffed up, but nothing remotely noticeable unless you're looking for it. All the buckles are still intact. Thanks to Blowfish for making a great boot! :)
