These are my first Biviel boots. I do think they fit true to size, meaning that my sz 5.5 feet do not feel like they are swimming in them. But I think there's enough room for regular sz 6 feet. Felt comfortable right away! There is some cushioning on the front sole of the boots. I do like the soft leather, quite nice quality as I got a splash of salt-water on them and they did not stain - just dried up and disappeared. I knocked off a star only because the leather is not as smooth towards the top of the boot; but that probably varies between each pair. Highly recommend for comfortable, casual weekends when you feel cowboy-ish! Can still feel 'city' in these boots when paired with skinny jeans or leggings :)

Ordered the size that was supposed to equal a US size 9 as I wear an 8.5 to 9 and they were too small. So these do run a little small. Wasn't impressed with them enough to order the larger size.

I have the worst time finding boots that are comfortable. This one fit the bill. The most important is that my heel doesn't move up and down. I always order a size down from my normal size 6 to a 5.5. But since this boot has european sizes, i ordered a 36. I have only worn them out to dinner, but instantly i could tell they will break in without any pain.
