Bearpaw Women's M410 10" Boot

Comment: [generally] The boots are cute. I bought the black ones, I'd definitely order another pair (different color of course).

[size] I wear a size 9 & I ordered a size 9. The boots fit nicely. i wear these with or without socks.

[color transfer] since i got black, the color does transfer to lighter colored material and skin. from what i understand, its the dye.

[inner lining] the lining on the back of the shaft is different from the front shaft. and the lining in the foot area is different from the lining of the shaft.

[shaft] when i first tried the boots on, the shaft was very stiff. i walked around my apartment with them and they're not so stiff anymore. boots end right where my calf begins (I'm 5'4 1/2"). very snug with jeans on.

[heel] The heel of the boot is "reinforced" because of this my ankles/ legs feel weird when I lock my knees. maybe the heel will soften over time.

[sole] rubber! good traction.

[walking] comfortable (: just don't drag your feet.

[shipping] Arrived on expected date. I live in CA, so obviously the shipping isn't as speedy as others.

Comment: I wear a size 8 in every shoe I own, so I ordered a size 8 and for me they were true to size. The foot bed fit exactly right. However, the 10" shaft was too tight/narrow at the top and did not fit my calf. This causes the boot to "scrunch" down and is uncomfortable. Which is unfortunate because I really liked them. They seem quite well made and were very comfortable and warm and I loved the chocolate color. If they fit better at the top I would definitely keep them. As it is, I will give them to my niece as a gift. Her legs are very slim and she will probably be able to tuck her jeans into them. Excellent quality for the price I paid, I thought. Prompt shipping from Amazon and nicely packaged.

Comment: I got mine on Amazon sale for $29.99. I purchased the size I would normally wear and they fit great with thin socks or no socks at all. If they stretch out I'll be able to wear thicker ones. The 10" hit just where my calf begins, but as a previous reviewer said, there's no room for tucking in jeans for me. If you have thinner calves you might have better luck. That said, I think these are a great buy for the price. Very warm and cozy.

Comment: I was extremely pleased with my recent purchase of these boots. They are comfortable and really keep my feet both warm and dry. The Nutmeg color goes with anything. I would put them up against the higher priced big name competitors any day. They are well worth the cost.

Comment: I ordered these when they were a Goldbox Deal and I am sure happy I did! I have owned about 6 pairs of Uggs over the years and for the price these are awesome!

One very important note- I looked at reviews regarding sizes and was conflicted because some reported they ran small and others said large. I normally wear a size 6 in Uggs and 6.5 in other shoes, but since they didn't have my size in stock, I ordered 7 instead. I was very surprised when they fit just right, too tight if wearing socks. From my experience, definitely order a size up.
