I'm 5'3", wear a 6.5 Wide shoe, and have a "wide" calf, being a size 18-20W. I saw this boot in Macy's, and the sample was a 6.5B but it was so crowded, I didn't want to bother asking someone to bring a bigger size (usually I go up a half size in boots). I was amazed that right away I could get my foot almost all the way down into the boot, and the calf was clearly going to fit! I ordered a 7B and prayed.
I'm wearing them right now... Here's the important stuff to know:
- I have a high instep, so I needed a long shoehorn (IKEA, $3.50), a pair of stockings (helps them slide on) and a LOT of patience to get my foot all the way down, because the heel has an unusually stiff and tight heelcup. It took me about 10 minutes - but if you are like me, and thought your dream of over-the-knee boots was dead, it's worth it!

What's nice about this boot is that it isn't bulky at the top like a lot of tall boots - you can tie it in the front for a sleeker look - or even fold it down. Laced up in the back there is no zipper - but not bad to get on and off and I have a wider calf and it fit me. Seems to run true to size and very comfortable. Nice detailing - could dress the boot up or down depending on your outfit. Good investment boot - won't go out of style. Looks like an expensive quality boot because of the the details. Stands out from the crowd.

Wish leather was thicker,

I love the concept of this boot, but I wish the leather was thicker. I've worn it out 10-20 times, and have noticed that the leather near the ankle scrunches down as it is quite thin. I saw another girl wearing this boot, and hers had scrunched all the way down. It defeated the purpose of getting an over-the-knee boot.
I will probably continue to wear it out because it's fairly comfortable, but I'm a little disappointed that the boot didn't retain its original structure.
If you have wide calves, this boot will probably fill out nicely. The buckle and lace-up detail at the back are very unique. The insole is also nicely cushioned, and I like how the toebox is roomy yet has a slim profile. It's just a shame that I couldn't get this to work.
