I have been looking for the 'perfect' pair of boots. I have probably purchased and sent back at least 10 pairs. Not only am I picky, but I also have large calves - 16". I have had the most horrible time trying to find a pair of boots that I would love. I found these and I had my doubts. I received them in the mail and i have to say I have finally found my 'perfect' boots. They have a wide square toe, beautiful leather, great quality and craftsmanship, very comfortable with the ATS foot bed system, and they fit my calves with room to spare! I can't wait til spring to wear these with my skirts! I am a very happy girl. I definitely plan on buying another pair in a different color.

I ordered this boot because it was the height I was looking for in a boot. However, the seams on BOTH boots separated along the white side-piping on the very FIRST day I wore them. I didn't even get through one lesson; the trainer noticed they were split almost as soon as we got started. All I had done is walk from the car, tacked up a horse and then mounted and walked in the ring. They split that fast. I sent them back and got my money back. Both the seller and Ariat backed the product. Pretty, but not a working boot. I was shocked at how teensy the seam was where the white piping was holding the two sides together. Not enough overlap.

I have been buying Ariat's for years and absolutely love these boots. True to Ariat, they are comfortable and durable. I wear these primarily for riding, but also wear them around town because they are stylish and comfortable:)
