Ariat Women's Barn Yard Twin Gore H2O Boot

I needed a weatherproof, easy to clean boot for working at the barn in wet, muddy conditions, this boot fit my needs. I love most Ariat products and I would purchase this one again. I rated 4 stars due to having trouble getting the right size, the sizing may be a little bigger than standard, but I wear with thick wool socks.

These boots are very well made and look like they would last a lifetime. I did not keep mine, I didn't listen to the warnings to order a size smaller and they were too big. The back is stiff and I didn't have the time to break them in prior to a trip. Also, you may not be able to tell from the photo, but this is a beefy boot! At first I thought it was a motorcycle boot. It didn't appear quite that way to me from the photo. Although I did send my pair back, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate this beautiful boot. I'm going to look for a shop that sells them so I can try on several pair. Please listen to me and all other reviewers and order 1/2 - 1 size smaller. I ordered a size 10 and had at least 3/4" extra room.

I have worn Ariat boots for over 20 years. I usually wear the Ariat Devon Cobalt Pro.
I read the reviews before I bought the Barn Yards. I have to say the sizing is bad. I always wear an 8. Every review says they run large so I ordered a 7.5. Well they feel like two different boots. The left one feels the right size but the inside of the heel is rough. It wore a blister on my foot the first hour I wore them. I put on thicker socks which has my foot feeling cramped but am hoping the roughness will go away. Now the right boot is big and a bit sloppy. I would recommend trying them on before you buy them. I would return them except for the shipping charges. The boot seems heavy duty which is what I wanted. Good luck on the sizing
