I just ordered these boots and found out there is an Arche store on my way home from work. I stopped in and tried them on and they were amazing. Amazon has the lowest price I've found so far, and I read an online review that said Arche is one of the best, longest lasting, most comfortable brands this person had ever owned etc.
When I tried the boots on in the store, the color of the latex soles was much darker than the color in the photo online. It was super dark brown, so it looked even better on.
When folded, the top of the boot opening gets pretty narrow. I tried to roll the cuff down while they were on and it was nearly impossible. I don't know the circumference of my calves but I'm built on the smaller side, so if you tend to have trouble fitting boots over your calves, this may be one of them.
That being said, I'm sure I can still tuck skinny jeans into them. They were still a little roomy at the top which is what I wanted stylewise...Read more

This boot was oversized in width and needed a tighter ankle and a zipper on the side to make it fit. Looked like a Santa boot, not very attractive on me since I am shorter. It was very cushy and I loved the classic arche toe design. The wedge is hard to walk in for me also, since there is no breaking point in the center for a foot to flex. Amazon return policy is not the best, the shoe has to be defective to not get charged return shipping so will buy my shoes from Zappos from now on!
