I favor these tall slim-fitting boots because I'm always out in the rain and prefer something functional as well as stylish. These boots keep you warm and dry and your feet never sweat because the gortex breathes. They have been comfortable to wear without any additional insoles. Note that these are very form fitting and they fit a foot and calf that is an average width but would be too tight on a wide foot or large calf. I've purchased 3 pairs of boots in the last year and these are by far my favorites.

These boots are great for getting through the winter while still looking good. They are very waterproof and can take you through snow and puddles. They aren't super comfortable to walk far but the fact they are so waterproof and look good outweighs the slight discomfort. I was so happy I had these boots during the recent DC snow/slush storm!
