Having lived my entire life on the Wet West Coast and purchasing good, basic black ankle boots time and time again (ie, Browns, Clarks, etc), after getting my feet soaked yet again because of a regular downpour, I decided that the next pair I purchased would have to be waterproof.

Thank goodness more shoe designers are finally making stylish, weather-resistant boots! I purchased these basic Aquatalia's, after buying a beautiful, heeled pair from Nordstrom. I normally wear a 7.5/8, but I knew after purchasing my Nordstrom pair, that I had to buy Aquatalia's in size 8. Aquatalia's fit narrow and about a 1/2 size smaller.

After receiving these boots and trying them on, I was worried that they were a little too narrow to be comfortable. But given the quality material, after 3 or 4 times wearing these out, the boots stretched out perfectly.

These boots are beautiful and stylish. I haven't worn them yet, but they are quite comfortable. Since I like my boots generous and I wear cotton socks with them, I ordered a half size up. They fit perfectly. Love the Navy suede and decided to order a second pair in Red, but they were already sold out. I'll know better next time. Enjoy!

These boots are worth the price. The sole is comfortable and the navy suede with its softly quilted inside made the boots warm and chic in the winter. The silver double zips look stylish especially when paring with skinny and biker/bombers. Love it, but I would recommend ordering half size up if u wanna wear cotton stocks with it.
