Aquatalia by Marvin K. Women's Rapid Knee-High Boot

I have been looking for the perfect black suede knee-high boot for ages, and I am so happy to have come across this brand (Thank you Kate Middleton!) !! The price may seem high, but the boots are weatherproof and you will be able to wear them year-round, day to evening. I am a runner with muscular calves, but the thin shaft of the boot still fits and is VERY flattering. I usually wear an 8.5 but at the time only a 9 was available, and it actually fits perfectly. If you have a narrower than average foot, stick with your size, otherwise I would say try a half-size up. Even with the heel, these boots are amazingly comfortable. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and my only regret would be not getting them sooner!

I am hooked on Aquatalia boots. These were one of, if not the most expensive boots this year so I kept following them and not purchasing. I will admit that the Kate Middleton article did push me over the edge and I purchased. (She has them on with her now famous red suit.) I like the other reviewer ordered a 7.5 although my true size is a 7 (alway a 7 in a Stuart Weitzman.) Aquatalia tends to run a little short so I feel good about going a half size up. The 7 was sold out. I do have a little extra toe room in the 7.5. I wore them Saturday night for the first time, walking all around NYC -looked great and the comfort was insane. I wore them with a black pencil skirt and black tights. The reason I like this better than the Roxie is because the zipper is only on the bottom, and the top of the boot fits snug against the top of the leg which is more slimming. These boots are lovely.. but the size 8 US were not suitable for a size 7 aussie foot. I didn't return them however, as they're so in demand. Go the thick socks!
