These shoes are painful to wear,

I bought these shoes because I thought they looked great. They are a rather attractive boot. I got them and wore them once and they buckled around the ankle creating excess material which rubbed against the skin. These are nearly impossible to walk in for long periods of time without experiencing pain. The price of these shoes compared to the discomfort caused by wearing them is not worth it. I wouldn't recommend these.

Beautiful boots, too narrow for a high instep. Wish they would have fit!! Had to give to my sister, sad.

I ordered these boots online. First off, they are quite a bit darker in person than they appear online. They are actually a pretty dark brown. Not an unattractive color, just not what I thought I was buying. That said, they are nice enough boots. Based on other reviews of Aldo shoes, I sized up thinking they would run small. I normally wear a 7, so I bought an 8. They are pretty loose, so I feel like a 7 would have worked. All in all pretty decent quality boots, although not sure if I am going to keep them because of the color.
