ALDO Chander - Women Knee-high Boots

Found these boots online and contacted Aldo directly with my questions and they were very helpful. I got the black boots and they are very true to the picture- nice quality, very stylish, and very comfortable. The boot shaft is fleece-lined (off-white) which is not mentioned in the description. There is a short zipper at the inside ankle to help you get the boots on. I would suggest ordering a size up as they run small. I normally wear an 8 but I got a size 9. I have large calves (15 inches) and the boots fit well in the legs with tights on. I did manage to tuck in a pair of jeans but I had trouble getting the boots up my leg fully. I plan to wear them with skirts, or with pants not tucked in so that wasn't an issue for me. If you have skinny jeans they might go up easier. Overall, I'm very pleased with boots and would recommend them as a good purchase. I got a great deal on them as they were marked down even more the day I happened to buy them.

These are really nice boots but just like the other reviewer said, SIZE UP! Seriously, I wear a 10 in all shoes and these are too snug. I'm taking them down the street to be stretched and that should help but I probably still won't be able to wear anything thicker than tights as socks! I purchased the taupe so I can wear them with dark and light colors and they are very versatile to be worn with skinny jeans or skirts. They are not dressy at all but that's exactly why i wanted them. The price was great for a well-made boot like this and I was happy the shipping was quick, too. They look rugged in person..like you've owned them for years and that was also a plus for me. Overall, after i have them stretched i will be pleased but do heed our warning and size up! Yes, even if you're a 10...I know, ordering an 11 feels funny but you'll need it, believe me!

Just got these (shipped at warp speed btw) and I'm a bit on the fence about them. They're much darker than on my computer pic. Think bitter chocolate. Which is ok I guess. They match a couple of bags I have which is good. One thing I don't like is how narrow the ball and toe area are. I like a more masculine and wide rounded or squared toe for boots like this. Just a more rugged look. These are more delicate in that area. If Aldo would give an overhead shot I would have known. As for fit I usually wear an 8-8.5, but I heard Aldo's run small so ordered a 9. They fit perfectly with just a bit of comfortable room wearing medium weight socks. I have an extremely narrow foot with 13" calves. I was able to easily slide them over skinny jeans. A wide foot could never fit in this boot is what I'm saying. They're well made, with rough bottoms to avoid slipping and they're fleece lined till the foot bed. They stay up or you can smoosh them down. The fleece really grips. Hope that helps...Read more
