ALDO Arzilli - Women Spring Boots Boots

I ordered these to replace a 7-year-old pair of Aldo boots that were a similar style to these that finally bit the dust. Those, and all the other shoes I have from Aldo, were super sturdy and comfortable. These look really great, but compared to my old boots, they just feel really fragile. It's nice that they're lightweight, but the leather at the ankle part is soft and unlined, giving no ankle support, and I just feel like I'm going to pull them on one day and they're going to rip. It's odd because the leather around the heel and toe is more solid, I don't see why they didn't make the whole shoe that way. I run for buses and get stepped on in the subway and stuff, and I'd like to have my next pair of boots for another 7 years, so I think these are going back.
