I was preparing to do a 28 mile hike in one day and knew I had to have the best of the best. I researched many boots and this boot had everything I wanted wrapped into one boot. Waterproof, good ankle support, awesome traction, a tough toe and stylish to boot. I did about 15-16 miles over a weekend to test them out and they fit perfectly to my foot and lived up to every expectation I needed. I even got caught in a horrible rain storm and they stayed dry on the inside. Highly recommended.

So I bought these boots for hiking in the fall. They did take a day or two to break them in but once I did they are quite comfortable and definately breathable. The only problem I had is that I got stuck out in that wierd October snow/rain storm and my feet were soaked. It took a couple of days for them to dry. All in all I would recommend but if there is a question about rain, leave them home.

Ordered these boots at the last minute for a cave tour/hiking trip. I was worried that I wasn't going to have time to try them out before the trip but turned out that wasn't an issue. I wore the boots all day, everyday for 4 days and had no problems with them, very comfortable. I debated on the color and decided to go with the fun red color, much better than boring brown hiking boots. Definitely glad I purchased these even at the last minute!
