I agree with the reviewer who liked the boots for the fact they have a hidden wedge. These look very cute with skinny jeans or leggings, and are very comfortable, in addition to creating the glorious illusion of height. They run large (I got an 8.5 and could have fit an 8). The black vinyl looks a bit weathered after a few wears (but it actually works, what with the studs and motorcycle feel).
The one, terrible, horrible, no good, very bad thing is that I've worn them about five times out to dinner/to the office on Friday(no heavy walking/tripping/exposure to elements) and the sole on the front of BOTH shoes is already flapping. Hopefully some superglue will help these puppies but I'm a bit disappointed in having my money literally split...

I was a little apprehensive after I read the reviews,but I was getting desperate for a boot/shoe solution for work. I'm used to a minimum 3" heel, and my job does NOT allow heels, not even 2" heels, soooooooooo I've been suffering in flat work shoes for a month and insoles did little to help. When I read about the hidden heel I just HAD to check 'em out for myself. I ordered these a full size larger than I wear and I'm SO glad I did! I just got them today, but I'm wearing them as I type and they feel SO GOOD on my feet! Can't wait to wear them to work! Even if they don't last long, they were so cheap I'll only be upset if I can't get another pair.

Amazon's description says : "The smooth upper is topped with metallic accents on the shaft, while a flat heel ensures a smooth walk."
THIS IS FALSE!! There is actually a hidden wedge heel of about 3 inches!!!!
The boot also fits VERY SMALL - at least a 1/2 size or even 1 full size smaller than marked.
That being said, the boot is actually really great and looks super cool! It's great if you are short because it gives the illusion that your legs are really long and that you are taller than you are. The metal studs give them a rock n' roll vibe. They are made out of fake leather but it's hard to tell. The boots are also very comfortable (as long as you don't order them too small!). They go with everything and were featured in Lucky Magazine awhile back. I bought them in black and gray and I don't regret my purchase one bit, except that I would have ordered a full size bigger instead of just a 1/2.
